We stayed at a beautiful hostel located in a remote area with breathtaking views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cozy room was clean and comfortable, and the shared kitchen had all the necessary amenities. The owner was friendly and the on-site restaurant served delicious food. The walking trails and proximity to the ocean were additional highlights of our stay.
There was a lack of well-equipped kitchen in the main building.

One of the highlights of my stay at Berunes Hi Hostel was the stunning view of the fjord from my double room in the main house. The vintage decor added to the 1950s charm, and despite being old, everything was clean and well-maintained. The warm and cozy atmosphere made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for travelers along route 1. I also appreciated the accommodating staff who allowed us to check in late at night. I highly recommend this hostel for its beautiful views, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere.

I had an amazing stay at this lovely hostel! The view of the ocean and mountains was absolutely breathtaking. The owners were so friendly and accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. The kitchen house felt like a cozy mountain cottage. Despite a few people trying to use the kitchen at the same time, we managed to work out a schedule. Parking was convenient right in front of the hostel. Taking a morning walk to the sea was an absolute delight. I highly recommend this hostel for its friendly atmosphere and stunning location.

I recently stayed at Berunes Hi Hostel for a few nights in late May. The setting of the hostel is absolutely idyllic, surrounded by beautiful mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The cabin-type accommodation was cozy and well-equipped, with excellent Wifi and plenty of sockets for electronics. The hostel itself was newly built, clean, and gave off a homely feeling with a fireplace in the living room and a simple and cozy kitchen in the main building. The huge shared kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need, and the toilets were spacious and nicely decorated. The host was also gracious and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!
Totally recommend this hostel.

The historical charm of the guesthouse was really unique and added to the overall experience. The breathtaking landscape with waterfalls and a lovely coastline made for a truly picturesque setting.- The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home during our stay.
The wifi signal was practically non-existent, which was frustrating when we needed it for planning our trip. The shared bathroom accommodation could be noisy, as the old house allowed sound to travel easily.

We had a lovely and romantic escape at this charming guest house. The cozy atmosphere and rustic decor made us feel right at home. The antique-looking bed in our cabin was a perfect touch and added to the overall charm. The restaurant on-site was a major highlight - the meals were superb and offered great value for money. The picturesque view of the surrounding farm compound was a bonus!
The breakfast, although good, felt a bit overpriced. Additionally, the room was quite small.
